The Maranatha College of Theology in the Techiman South Metropolitan Assembly, has held its 13th graduation ceremony at the Techiman Methodist School park.
A total of number of 19 people were graduated with some being honored with a Diploma certificates, while others were honored with a Degree and Doctorate certificates.
The 13th graduation ceremony by the college, according to the President of the Maranatha Christian Church – Africa and President of the Maranatha College of Theology, Apostle Professor Stephen Sawiri, is a testament to the college’s commitment to fostering spiritual growth and academic excellence as each graduate, went through rigorous training and spiritual development which equipped them with the knowledge and skills necessary to make a meaningful impact in their respective communities.
Apostle Professor Stephen Sawiri in an interview with our reporter disclosed that, the Maranatha College of Theology has been in Techiman since 2012 and the college over the years has train over 500 individuals into the various office in the Ministry of God.
He revealed that, the aim of the college is to train people in God’s Ministry and win a lot of souls to the kingdom of God and as such the college offers free tuition to all those interested in learning the word of God.
“We have been in Techiman since the last 12 years, today’s graduation is the 13th graduation ceremony we are having in Techiman. With the grace of God, we have been able to train over 500 men and women of God in Techiman and in the Northern Region of Ghana.
“Our aim is to draw people closer to God, due to some individual gains by some pastors, people no longer respect the church, so we established the school to educate pastors about the word of God and tune their focus to winning souls for the Kingdom of God.
“We graduated 19 people today and we know that by the grace of God, we will graduate more people into God’s ministry. We meet every Saturday and Sunday afternoon at the Techiman Bonokyempem Hall, we have Diploma, Degree and Doctorate courses. Our tuition is free, we don’t charge our students and we are happy to do it free of charge.” He said.
A lecturer at the Maranatha College of Theology, Rev. Dr. Annor Kwain, advised the graduates to focus in spreading the word of God. He said, “my advice to our graduates is to spread the word of God to all communities in the country because that is the task given to us by Christ.
“If we spread the word of God, we will win a lot of souls into the God’s kingdom and that will strengthen the Church, it is my prayer that the grandaunts will be able to go all out and spread the Gospel of the Lord and I pray that they overcome any challenge they may face.”
The graduates, expressed their outmost joy and promised to abide by what they have been taught in the college and focus on spreading the Gospel and winning souls to the kingdom of God.
