The campaign team of Hon. Collins Augustine Ntim, led by the Offinso North Deputy Women Organizer, Fautina Aasantwaa and Alhaji Moro accompanied by members of the media, conducted an inspection tour of the development projects undertaken by Hon. Collins Ntim, the Member of Parliament for the constituency, in several communities.
The primary objective of this initiative was to showcase and shed light on the remarkable achievements and positive impacts made by Hon. Collins Ntim in these communities and defuse claims by other NPP Offinse North Parliamentary aspirants that the incumbent MP “has done nothing in the constituency.”
The tour also aimed to inform the public about the progress and development achieved by Hon. Collins Ntim in these communities, as well as to foster transparency and accountability in governance as the New Patriotic Party gears towards its Parliamentary primaries on Saturday, 27th January, 2024 of which Hon. Collins Ntim seeks to be reelected by the delegates.
Some of the communities visited included Nkenkaasu, Akumadan, Asuoso, Afrancho, Brehoma, Kobreso, Darso, Asempanaye, Nkwaakwaa and seseko. The media got the chance to witness some of the completed projects of Hon. Ntim as well as projects that are still under construction of which contractors were seen on site. some of the numerous projects inspected were the construction two Astroturf in the constituency, construction of six 10-seater water closet toilet facility across the constituency, numerous health centers, school blocks, construction of community roads, a dam, multipurpose market centers across the constituency, the near completed university of Local Government and Development, extension of electricity to deprived communities and a greenhouse village, divisional police command building, accommodations for civil servants and security personnel, accommodation to house the Magistrate in the Constituency, ultra-modern Court complex, Construction of a media village at Nkenkaasu, Construction of DVLA at Akomadan including many others.
During the inspection, Fautina Aasantewaa highlighted that various infrastructure projects have been completed under the administration of Hon. Collins Ntim. She also emphasized the efforts made by Hon. Collins Ntim in improving access to clean water and providing support to local businesses through entrepreneurship programs.
Madam Faustina Asantewaa, explained that the project inspected by the media contributes to only 60% of the work that Hon. Collins Ntim has done and that is testament enough that, Offinso North through Hon. Collins Ntim has gotten a fair share of the National Cake.
“What we have witnessed today is not all that Hon. Ntim has done, I will say this is only about 60% of the projects that Hon. Collins Ntim has done. There are a lot of developmental projects that we didn’t even visit and what Hon. Ntim has done really shows that Offinso North has gotten their share from the Nana Addo, Bawumia government.” She said.
Madam Faustina ceased the occasion to appeal to all delegates in the constituency to remember Hon. Collins Ntim comes Saturday, January 27th as the party goes to the polls to select Parliamentary aspirants for the December Parliamentary elections.
According to her, Hon. Ntim is seeking to complete all his unfinished projects before he leaves parliament and will need another tenure (only four years) in office to materialize that dream.
“We are pleading with all the delegates in Offinso North to remember Hon. Ntim come Saturday, he said he needs only four years to complete all his projects so kindly vote for him so that he can complete his projects.”
“We believe in all our delegates and know that they will help Hon. Ntim to complete all his projects by voting for him come Saturday which in turn will see the development of Offinso North.” Mad. Faustina Asantewaa explained.
The media inspection led by Fautina Aasantwaa served as a platform to showcase the commendable efforts of Hon. Collins Ntim in improving the lives of the constituents in Offinso North.
