Techiman South: Dr. Christopher Bayere promises to build tomatoes factory at Tanoso
The parliamentary candidate for Techiman south constituency on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Dr. Christopher Beyere Basongti, has promised to build a tomato processing factory at Techiman Tanoso when elected as the Member of Parliament for Techiman South.
According to him, Tanoso is among the major producers of tomato in the country and his administration will see to it that tomato farmers in Techiman gets the full benefit of their labor by establishing a tomato processing factory in Tanoso.
Dr. Bayere made this revelation when he was unveiling his policies to the constituents in a constituency parliamentary debate organized by the National Commission for Civic Education(NCCE) in collaboration with the European Union ( EU).
Dr. Christopher in his remarks assured the people of Techiman an ultra modern Bono East regional hospital if voted into power.
He also made mention of upgrading CHIPs compound within the Techiman South Metropolis to a poly clinics status when given the nod. He emphasized the need for periodic training and upgradement of health workers in the metropolis.
Dr. Christopher further outline his policy of establishing a mental health facilities in the regional capital to handle all mental cases.
He highlighted on the need to use the office of the Member of Parliament to facilitate for the modernization and upgrading of the Techiman Timber market to create job opportunities for the youth.
Honorable Christopher entreated the people of Techiman south to rally behind him in this years election to enable him unvail the good  policies he has for the constituency.
In the educational sector, Dr. Bayere promise to transform the educational sector by providing Technical schools, expanding  infrastructure within the single sex school such as our Lady of Mount Carmel Girls Senior High School in the metropolis.  “Rural education will be given a face lift under my leadership as the Member of Parliament for Techiman South.” Hon. Christopher said
He promised to bridge the unemployment deficit among the Youth by establishing mini factories and fertilizer processing plant to create more jobs.
“Introduction of skills development training for the youth and the physically challenge, provision of good roads for farmers to transport food stuffs to various market centers will be the hallmark of my administration” He said.
Regional chairman for the Bono East inter party Dialogue committee, Nana Ansah Akonpani has called on the people of Techiman south and  the Bono East as a whole to embrace peace before, during and after the election.
Nana Ansah Akonpani urged all elegible citizens to exercise their franchise on December 7th 2024.
In attendance were, security personnel , artisans and selected students from the Senior High Schools.
