Celebrated Gospel musician Victoria Sarfo reacted to comment by Ghanaian Rapper and song-writter, Ruth Eno Adjoa Amankwah Nyame Adom, known professionally by her stage name Eno Barony that many secular musicians convey faith and positive messages in their song than so gospel musicians.

Eno Barony in an interview said he sing gospel at church to praise her maker and that her rap is also gospel saying ‘’gospel song is not only about mentioning Jesus Christ name’’

Reacting to this, Victoria Sarfo said she agrees with the rapper, Eno Barony.

Speaking in an interview with Agoropapa, the host of Ezra FM Entertainment Arena, the gospel musician indicated that most secular songs contain good messages which preach gospel than most gospel songs.

“What I am saying is that everybody should follow his or her trend, we are in the computer world and it changes many things. Today it is easier to record many songs than before because of the computer. So the changes have affected many things including the gospel songs.”  The “Jesus Kasa” hit maker said.

She mentioned that secular songs like Amerado’s kwaku Ananse song contain good messages.

“All the words are coming from our month, Christianity is a call and good character not the kind of song you will listen to. Somebody like Amerado who says I am his spiritual mother, I feel happy when I listen to his song. I love his Kwaku Ananse song because it talks about lifestyle. Many pastors listen to that song.”

Adding that a musician can use the Word of God for rap.

“So it is not about Jesus Christ only, you can use the Word of God as a rap and others.” She reiterated.

Victoria Sarfo  has teamed up with other renowned Ghanaian gospel music industry artists such as Piesie Esther, Cynthia Appiadu or Daughters of Glorious Jesus fame, Kofi Owusu Peprah and Benedicta Antwi to come out with her song  titled ‘Jesus Kasa’ remix.
