The Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Hon. Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey is set to speak on the threats facing democracies, the falling development cooperation moded that has evolved as part of the Second World War arrangements.

The talk is scheduled for Thursday, 23rd May,  2024 at the University of Buckingham Campus under the theme: “Realising the Democratic Dividend: A Commonwealth Imperative”.

The programme organized by Centre for Security and Intelligence (BUCSIS) is aimed at strengthening the threats facing democracies.

According to the Leadership of BUCSIS, Hon. Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey and her accompanies will arrive at Vinson Building at 2: 25pm.

“Realising the Democratic Dividend: A Commonwealth Imperative”

The Hon. Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey will set out the care for the transformation of the Commonwealth Institution as a major part of the response to the threats facing democracies, the falling development cooperation moded that has evolved as part of the Second World War arrangements, as well as for revitalising multilateralism.

2:25pm – Foreign Minister and party arrive at entrance to Vinson Building, University of Buckingham Campus, to be met by the Welcome Committee, led by Vice Chancellor, James Tooley, Paul Coonley Boateng, on behalf of BUCSIS. Mark Seddom, Centre for UN Studies and Ghanaian students.
