Black Stars captain, André Morgan Rami Ayew widely called Dede Ayew has urged Ghanaians to give his brother Jordan Ayew the respect he deserves.
Dede Ayew’s comment comes after Jordan Ayew scored sensational hat-tricks as the Senior National Team, Black Stars of Ghana secured a 4-3 victory over the Central African Republic (CAR) in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
Ghana first beat Mali 2-1 in Bamasko which has moved the Black Stars to the top of Group I in the CAF World Cup qualifiers.
Dede Ayew posted on his X that “Put some respect on my brother’s name y’all GO GHANA!!!”
The Black Stars captain was excluded from a 26-man squad released by the head coach, Otto Addo for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Dede Ayew’s post has met a lot of reactions as some Ghanaians are calling on him to announce his retirement from the National Team.
“”Just retire from our team and we will respect him” One asked.
Others also believe he is the reason Jordan Ayew could not perform well in the National Team so he should retire for the players to rebuild the Black Stars.
