Abubakar Gabasa, the Oti Regional Zongo Caucus Coordinator of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the Regional Organizer, Sulemana Abdul Mumuni, have embarked on a two-day tour at the Biakoye Constituency to monitor the progress of the ongoing voter registration exercise.
The visit by the Oti Regional NDC Executives, is part of the party’s efforts to ensure a successful voter registration process and encourage high voter turnout in the constituency.
During the tour, they visited various registration centers and the Electoral Commission’s Office while engaging with local communities, and assess the implementation of the exercise.
As the Oti Regional NDC Organizer and the Zongo Caucus Coordinator, play a crucial role in mobilizing support and ensuring the party’s interests are well-represented in the voter registration process.
The Biakoye Constituency is considered a key battleground, and the NDC is keen to maximize its voter registration efforts in the area.
The Regional Organizer and Zongo Caucus said they witnessed a peaceful environment at the office of the Electoral Commission as well as other registration centers and urged electorates in the constituency to emulate the same during the general elections.
“We witnessed a cordial relationship between the NDC, NPP and the EC at the EC’s office since the environment was peaceful, welcoming and serene.” They said.
They continued, “we preached for the same peace till the end of this limited registration and the victory for the NDC party in December 7 General Election.”
He urged all eligible citizens to take advantage of the ongoing registration exercise and exercise their democratic right to vote.
Their presence in the Constituency and at the EC office according to reports, gave the Constituency executives and comrades the hope to work for the party, to see victory for the NDC party come Dec 7.
The two-day tour is expected to provide valuable insights into the progress of the voter registration exercise in the Biakoye Constituency, allowing the NDC to fine-tune its strategies and ensure a robust participation of its supporters in the process.
