The Bono East Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. Unas Owusu populaly Chairman Unasco has urged the rank and file of the party in the Techiman South Constituency to put all differences aside and rally behind the party.
According to Chairman Unasco, without unity, it will be extremely difficult for the NDC to win the Techiman South Parliamentary seat from the NPP.
He called on the party members to bury all the differences that characterized the party before the constituency elections and work together with the aim of capturing power in the 2024 elections.
“what I want to say is that, we should allow sleeping dogs to lie and fight for peace and unity in the NDC party in Techiman South, I will beg all of us that its time for those that deliberately lie about others to generate tension in the party to stop that so that we can enjoy peace and unity going into the 2024 elections.” He told Rev. Nana Amakye of Classic FM.
He called on the party members to bury all the differences that characterized the party before the constituency elections and work together with the aim of capturing power in the 2024 elections.
“There are some people who don’t want peace and unity in Techiman South NDC due to some personal reasons but when it comes to party work, all differences must be put aside, so I will advise those who because of personal reasons don’t want peace to stop”. He said.
His comments follow a petition filed by two party members who were expoche from the party in Techiman south due to anti party conduct.
