Controversial Ghanaian socialite, Andreas Owusu, popularly known as Efia Odo has expressed shock over how Yvonne Nelson was quick to explain Sarkodie’s response to her aborted pregnancy news.
Yvonne Nelson in her book, ‘I Am Not Yvonne Nelson’ said Sarkodie did not welcome news of her pregnancy at the time, and considering that she had grown up without a father, she was not ready to let her child have such an experience, hence the decision to terminate the pregnancy.
Sarkodie, in response, released a song punctuated with vulgar words as he told his side of the story, stressing that the actress rather wanted to abort the baby despite his call on her to keep the pregnancy.
In a quick rebuttal, Yvonne Nelson said, Sarkodie wants to use rap to rubbish a pain a young woman felt but his insults won’t work but the most important thing is to respect womanhood.
Adding that, insults won’t work.
“Michael , you claim I was desperate to abort because I needed to complete school. In 2010 when I became pregnant, I had completed the university. Anybody can verify this. I wasn’t in school and you know it. If you want to lie, find an logical lie” She said.
“In my book, i narrated how you got me pregnant, How you couldn’t wait for me to get rid of it. How you DROVE me to have an abortion. As usual, you want to use rap to rubbish a pain a young woman felt. We both have daughters, lets see what life throws at them” Yvonne Nelson tweeted.
But Efia Odo said Sarkodie didn’t say anything for some days but wondered why Yvonne was explaining and talking plenty over just a 3 minutes rap.
“As you published your book Sarkodie did not say a word. Just 3 mins rap and see the way you are explaining and talking plenty ah” Efia Odo tweeted.
