Ghanaian-American theologian based in the United States of America, ArchBishop Kofi Adonteng Boateng believes foreign aid can not help develop Ghana.
According to him, neither International Monetary Fund (IMF) or America can help Ghana to develop.
Speaking to Zionfelix Monitored by Elvisanokyenews.com, the founder of the Divine Word International Ministries indicated that Ghanaians are only people who can help Ghana to transform if they can come together.
ArchBishop Adonteng revealed that discussions are far in advance with some prominent people to see how they can join hands together to help Ghana.
“I am here for big things and we want to see how we can join hands to help Ghana. It is not the government, we want to join hands with some people for Ghanaians to help Ghana, IMF can’t help Ghana, America can’t help Ghana, is Ghanaians who can help Ghana if we come together and that is what I have discussed with some prominent people to see how we can help the country.” He said.
Mr. Adonteng Boateng called on Ghanaians to do their best to help develop the country.
His comment comes after the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in 2023 approved Ghana’s request for a $3 billion bailout to support Ghana’s economic recovery.
The man of God revealed that he has the passion to make an impact on people who also need help.
“I want to try to make a difference in people, I come from a less privileged home and Gid has elevated me to this level. So I believe that life is very short even when the day is long it is still short so whatever I can do to help less privileged people to develop in life in order to thank God in the future is the reason I am happy about my new title (ArchBishop).” He added.
He explained that his new title “ArchBishop” is a challenge to himself to help people to develop their lives.
“There is a lot of Work to do if you are a Bishop but ArchBishop is too much work. The title means a lot but my concern is how to help people who need help like how I was.” He stressed.
