New Patriotic Party (NPP) Communications team member, Benjamin Gyewu-Appiah has vowed to set himself ablaze if former President John Dramani Mahama wins the 2024 election.
According to him, all indicators show that the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) will retain power to continue the good works done by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo so if the NDC wins the presidential in the upcoming December 7 poll, he will pour petrol on himself and burn himself.
Benjamin Gyewu-Appiah made this vow on Original TV’s Amayosem show.
When the Presenter asked him if anybody finds him alive, hit and kill him if Mahama wins the election, the NPP Communicator said no.
Below is the conversation
“If John Mahama wins this election, pour kerosene on me and burn me. I am telling you this, it should happen in a live studio for every Ghanaian to watch.” Benjamin Gyewu-Appiah said.
Presenter: “Don’t say we should burn you, look in the camera and tell the viewers that if Mahama wins, you will burn yourself”
NPP Communicator: “I will pour petrol on myself and burn myself personally live coverage for everybody to see and I am not joking with this.”
Presenter: “Look in the camera again and tell the viewers that if Mahama wins the election and you didn’t burn yourself, whoever meets you outside can hit and kill you.”
NPP Communicator: “No, no, no, I will burn myself, nobody will see me anywhere and hit me. I am a man of my words.”
Presenter: “You can’t burn yourself in our studio here, so for everybody to see that you are serious about what you are saying, if you fail to burn yourself, anybody who finds you in the traffic or street can pour petrol on you and burn you.”
NPP Communicator: “No, I will not let anyone hit and kill me painfully, I will burn myself before they will come and do that to do like what happened in Morocco.”
