Award-winning Disc Jockey Kofi Amoako, popularly known as DJ Vyrusky, has debunked rumors of him not playing or DJing for Ghana’s Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale.
In an interview monitored by Elvisanokyenews.com, DJ Vyrusky asserted that he is still Shatta Wale’s DJ, even though he hasn’t played for him in a while.
DJ Vyrusky revealed that he also works with Kidi, Kuami Eugene, and Lynx Entertainment as a whole,
“Who says I have stopped playing for Shatta Wale? Who said that? I haven’t stopped, although it’s been a while since I did that because, you know, I work for several artists. I still play for him,” he said.
He added that even before he started playing for him as his DJ, he was an ardent fan of Shatta Wale. With the kind of relationship they have built, he will never stop playing for him.
“Shatta Wale is my guy, and let me tell you this, even before we met, I saw him perform one day, and I was like, ‘Who the hell is this guy?’ And since then, I have been a believer in Shatta Movement. If you don’t know, ‘For Life is For Life,’ and Shatta Wale and I are for life,” Vyrusky recounted.
DJ Vyrusky has been known as Shatta Wale’s personal DJ for a while, and they have performed together on many big stages.
DJ Vyrusky has featured Shatta Wale on a couple of songs, including ‘Adwenfi,’ literally meaning ‘Bad Mind,’ featuring Kuami Eugene, ‘Baby’ featuring Kidi and Kuami Eugene.

Ghanaian DJ Kofi Amoako, better known by his stage name DJ Vyrusky, worked as EchoHouse’s commercial media manager before switching to DJing full-time on Starr Drive in 2014. He now holds the titles of the 2017 Ghana DJ Awards Best DJ of the Year and Ghana Music Honors Best DJ.
