The Gomoa Nyanyano Road in the Central Region will soon be constructed to improve road infrastructure in the area.

This was disclosed by  the Parliamentary Candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), in the Gomoa East Constituency Hon. Kojo Asemanyi when he met the Drivers union and drivers to discuss the construction of the  Road.

The NPP PC emphasized the importance of the Nyanyano Road project and highlighted his efforts to lobby for its continuation. He mentioned that the contractor has been fully paid and is prepared to commence construction. Despite acknowledging potential inconveniences during the construction phase, Hon. Asemanyi stressed that the project is essential for the improvement of the road infrastructure in the area.

Reflecting on the impact of the road on his previous election results, Hon. Asemanyi noted a significant difference in votes within the vicinity of the road construction area. He attributed a portion of his electoral loss to the absence of the completed road project, indicating the importance of infrastructure development in influencing voter sentiment.

In response, the Drivers union and drivers expressed gratitude to Hon. Asemanyi for his dedication to the road construction initiative. The GPRTU officers assured their support and pledged to inform drivers about Hon. Asemanyi’s role in the project, emphasizing the positive impact his leadership would have had on expediting the road construction process.

Furthermore, interactions with drivers revealed a consensus that Hon. Kojo Asemanyi’s involvement as the MP would have accelerated the completion of the road project. The drivers expressed willingness to campaign for his return to power, recognizing his commitment to addressing critical infrastructure needs in the community.

As discussions continue on the Nyanyano Road construction, Hon. Kojo Asemanyi’s engagement with the Drivers union and drivers underscores the collaborative efforts towards enhancing transportation infrastructure and fostering community development.

Other party executives who joined the meeting were Richmond Otoo (Constituency Chairman), Richard Cosmos Abakah (2nd Vice Chair), and Sylvester Gomado (Secretary), Hon. Asemanyi interacted with key stakeholders to address concerns related to the road construction project.
