Nigerian actor, Yul Chibuike Daniel Edochie popularly known as Yul Edochie has commended Nigerian president, Bola Ahmed Adekunle Tinubu for fixing the economy.

He said the Nigerian economy is getting better during the regime of president Bola Tinubu.

In his X account the Actor indicated that the Nigerian Naira is gradually going high against the US dollar as a result of good work by the current government.

He also expressed optimism that problems facing other sectors of the country will be fixed to bring relief to the Nigerian citizens.

“Dollar is coming down. I see your good works Sir. His Excellency, @officialasiwajubat THE JAGABAN. And I know the good works will get to other troubled sectors of the country. You have my 100% support Sir. May God give you all you need to fix Nigeria. . Asiwaju Boy. 100%.” He wrote.

According to nairametrics.com, the naira strength against major currencies on Monday has increased and will likely  trade for less than N1,000 per US dollar in the coming months.

Yul Edochie is one of the Nigerian actors who has supported and defended president Bola Tinubu since he assumed office.

In December 2023, the renowned actor stated that Nigeria was a terrible country when Bola Tinubu took over from the previous government.

He appealed to Nigerians to be patient and support the new government to fix the mess in the country.

“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu inherited a country in a terrible shape already. Let’s all be patient. Everywhere go balance soon. Jagaban will fix Nigeria.” He wrote.

On 1 March 2023, The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)  declared Tinubu winner of the 2023 presidential election. He was declared president-elect after he polled 8,794,726 votes to defeat his opponents, Atiku Abubakar of the opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP) polled 6,984,520 votes and Labour Party’s Peter Obi had 6,101,533 votes to come third.

President Tinubu is serving as the 16th and Current President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, after serving as the Governor of Lagos State from the year 1999 to 2007.
