Ghana’s football giants, Kumasi Asante Kotoko, will play their home games at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium and will incure a cost of GHc10,000 per each home game.

Per reports from Kesben sports, there will be no share of gate proceeds as part of the new agreement as all the proceeds will go directly to the Kumasi based team club.

This will ensures that the Porcupine Warriors will keep the full amount from ticket sales, without having to share any revenue with stadium authorities.

Asante Kotoko’s traditional home grounds, Baba Yara Stadium, has been closed down by the National Sports Authority for a one month renovation works after Black Stars’ opener of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against Angola.

The Obuasi Len Clay Stadium, located at Obuasi in the Ashanti Region of Ghana, is a historic stadium that has hosted numerous high-profile matches, including CAF Confederation Cup Preliminary games. The stadium has a seating capacity of around  20,000 spectators.

The Porcupines are set to play Young Apostles at home in their upcoming Ghana Premier League match week three fixture.
