New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer aspirant, Kennedy Agyapong, has vowed to take firm action against anyone found selling government positions if he becomes president.
He said corruption and selfishness are the reasons Ghana is not progressing.
Speaking to party faithfuls, the former Assin Central Member of Parliament stated that the leadership of the NPP know his stands that is why they are afraid to make him the flagbearer.
““If Kennedy Agyapong is president and I hear that anybody has sold a position to anybody, I will arrest him and jail him. You see, that is why they are afraid and they always come and lie to you that Kennedy Agyapong is insulting NP NPP people. Now they are saying that Kennedy Agyapong reported them to EOCO.” Kennedy Agyapong stated vowed.
He called on the party members particularly, the grassroots to support him and build the party and Ghana as a whole.
“Whatever you did, I am not aware of it so I am fighting for the grassroots so you should also fight for me. Don’t be afraid of anybody. Let’s fight together, win together and work together, that is the only way we can build NPP.” Ken Agyapong said.
The businessman reiterated that those with certificates will have opportunities and those without certificates will also have share because they don’t need a certificate to earn a living.
“What you need is skill, hard work and opportunity. Under my leadership, every hardworking Ghanaian, whether educated or not, will have the chance to work and succeed. Ghana’s story is not over yet. What we need is a business-minded leader, one who can turn potential into progress and effort into employment.” He promised.
