The highly anticipated 2024-2025 Ghana Premier League is set to resume by the end of this week, with the opening match scheduled for Saturday, 7th September 2024.
The games between Dreams FC and defending champions FC Samartex 1996 and Vision FC vs Berekum Chelsea, will mark the beginning of the league’s 66th season, featuring 18 top-tier clubs from across the country.
Dreams FC, FC Samartex, Vision FC, Berekum Chelsea, Hearts of Oak, Basake Holy Stars, Karela United, Asante Kotoko, Nsoatreman FC, Young Apostles, Aduana FC, Heart of Lions, Goldstars FC, Legon Cities, Nations FC, Bechem United, Medeama SC, and Accra Lion, are the 18 teams that will be competing in this season’s Ghana Premier League.
The Ghana Premier League, established in 1956, is the top professional football league in Ghana and has been the top tier of Ghanaian football ever since. The league is organized by the Ghana Football Association.
The upcoming season promises to be filled with exciting matches and intense competitions between the league’s top teams. Fans and supporters can look forward to witnessing their favorite clubs battle it out for the championship title, as well as for individual awards and recognition.
