Techiman New Krobo Queen, Nana Adwoa Akwabea Sika, has revealed that she will organize frequent programs tailored for young ladies in the community to improve their capacity.

Nana Adwoa Akwabea Sika, aims to empower young women to achieve success, develop their skills, and contribute meaningfully to the country’s progress and development.

She explains that she is dedicated to promoting gender equality, women’s empowerment, and youth leadership in the community.

“I’m very passionate about girl child education, I care a lot about the wellbeing of women, especially young ladies that’s why I have been championing for the development of young ladies in church and in school.

“Now that I have been given the opportunity to be a Queen, I will capitalize on this new position of mine to frequently organize workshops, seminars and other programs that will seek to improve the capacity of young ladies in New Krobo and Techiman as a whole that will improve their lives.” She promised

By providing opportunities for education, training, mentorship, and networking, the Queen seeks to inspire, motivate, and support young women in realizing their potential, pursuing their aspirations, and becoming agents of positive change and progress in society.

Nana Adwoa Akwabea Sika, seeks to contribute to building a more inclusive, equitable, and prosperous future for all members of the community, fostering a culture of respect, diversity, and solidarity that values and celebrates the contributions of women to the country’s growth and advancement hence her plan to organize such programs.

According to World Vision, Empowering women and girls stands as a fundamental goal in shaping the world’s future.

Women’s empowerment has five components: women’s sense of self-worth; their right to have and to determine choices; their right to have access to opportunities and resources; their right to have power to control their own lives, both within and outside the home; and their ability to influence the direction of social and economic order, nationally and internationally.
