The traditional leaders of Akisimasu in the Techiman South Municipal of the Bono East Regional, has organized a befitting send-off ceremony for Alhaji Seidu Kwame.

The send-off ceremony was aimed to honor Alhaji Seidu Kwame for his 34-years of service as the headteacher for Akisimasu T I Ahmadiya Basic School.

Acknowledging Alhaji Seidu Kwame Yeboah’s long and dedicated service as the headmaster of the school demonstrates the community’s appreciation, respect, and gratitude for his commitment to education, leadership, and mentorship.

Nana Takyi Twih Brempong, the Akisimasuhene  praised Alhaji Seidu Kwame Yeboah for his service as headmaster as he acknowledges the positive influence, guidance, and leadership he provided to students, staff, and the community.

Speaking on behalf of the Akisimasuhene, Mr Gideon Appiah Boahen,  the secretary of Akisimasuhene, told our reporters that,  the dedication and good works of Alhaji Kwame is something that the community will never take for granted.

According to him, Nana Takyi Twih Brempong, has implemented an educational fund to support brilliant but needy children in the community.

“Nana in his bid to improve the standard of education in Akisimasu has establish an educational fund to help the less previlage in the community.”

“This will help brilliant students from poor socio-economic background to continue their education and pursue their dream jobs.” He said

He again urged the Techiman South Municipal Assembly to implement school feeding program at schools in Akisimasu.

“Nana also wants the Techiman Educational Directorate through the Municipal Assembly implement free feeding in Akisimasu since it will in a way motivate school going children in Akisimasu to attend classes.” He saidA

On his part, the Akisimasu Abosuapanin, Nana Amakwah eulogized Alhaji Seidu Kwame Yeboah for his good work while encouraging the new headteacher to enumerate the good deeds of Alhaji Seidu.

“May God bless the outgoing headmaster for his good works, we are fully aware of his love for the people of Akisimasu and for that reason, we at Akisimasu will be forever grateful.

“The new headmaster must follow the footpath of Alhaji Seidu and we the leaders of Akisimasu will also support him.” Nana Amankwah said

Alhaji Seidu Kwame Yeboah, the outgoing headteacher in an interview with the media explained that, his success of teaching at Akisimasu T I Ahmadiya Basic Schoolor for the past 34 years was determination, and dedication to work.

“I realized came to met only four teachers mainly due to the fact that the community was lacking social amenities, so I decided to do my possible best to uplift the image of the school and the community.”

“I was transporting teachers with my own car each day for free and I still do that all because I want the best for the school.” He said.

Alhaji Seidu explain that, “my successor is someone that I know and I will advise him to put the interest of the school and community before his personal interest, he should always avail himself whenever his teachers needs him and by so doing, he will be very successful.”

He said he had passion for teaching  and when the opportunity came, he did all he can to impact the life of learners in Akisimasu.
