Ghanaian man, Patrick Amenuvor who attempted a “Stand-a-thon” to break the Guinness World Record for longest standing by an individual has revealed that his attempt was unofficial.

According to him, the Guinness World Record did not approve his request to attempt the longest standing marathon by an individual.

Speaking to Joy FM entertainment show, Patrict Amenuvor explained that he attempted the stand-a-thon despite GWR failure to approve his request to prove to Ghanaians that he is a man of his words.

“My attempt was not approved by the Guinness World Record because I was looking for people to help me but I did not get so before the date got closer we saw that we delayed the process. We promised Ghanaians and the flyers came out so people were expecting it to happen so I said fine………No, I am not joking, I am serious. I did to indicate that I am a man of my words.” Patrick revealed.
