Ghanaian gospel musician cum preacher Sonnie Badu has warned women on their choices of human hair they choose.
He said some of the wigs they put on have spiritual effects which can eventually ruin the glory bestowed on them.
“So I am not saying don’t wear a wig because some of you where your hairlines start from, keep it but there are certain things you need to do before putting it on. Because your head is your glory, the head of a woman is that which a crown is placed on now that wig you put on, if you don’t know where it is coming from then your crown queen has been stolen.” He warned.
Sonnie Badu gave this warning during a sermon at the RockHill Church,
He encouraged women to embrace their natural hair to avoid spiritual consequences.
“Don’t take that anointing that hits this room every Tuesday for granted because it is definitely taking something off your life. I might pour water and mess up your beautiful wig but I ‘d rather your wig be messed up than the demon mess up your hair. After all, who made those wigs? Did you know that sometimes the wig you buy, the one whose hair is some of you who wants the human hair, though those of you, you want the real human hair, you have moved from synthetic to human.” He said.
“Whose hair was that hair? And some of you that got it from India, they don’t worship the God you worship. Some of you cut their hair as a sacrifice to the gods and after they finished with the sacrifice, the workers gathered the hair and sold it to make money. A person that was raised by Harry Krishna, her whole life anyhow is now taking off her hair and you said I like it. You actually purchased it from their alter” The preacher added.
