US President Joe Biden’s decision to quit the presidential race has come as a shock to many Americans, especially the Democrats.
Among the people who are raising concern about his resignation as the presidential candidate for the Democrats are the donors who donated money to support Joe Biden campaign.
Joe Biden recently raised about $28 million during a fundraising at Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.
The US president in a statement said “tt has been the greatest honor of my life to serve as your president. And while it has been my intention to seek reelection, I believe it is in the best interest of my party and the country for me to stand down and focus solely on fulfilling my duties as President for the remainder of my term.” He added.
Reacting to this on social media, some users questioned the whereabouts of their money during the fund raising.
