President and founder of LoveWorld Incorporated widely known as Christ Embassy, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome has reacted to the fire incident at his church.
The Loveworld Convocation Arena of the Loveworld Nation (Christ Embassy headquarters) located in the Oregun area of Ikeja, Lagos State, reportedly caught fire on Sunday, 23rd June, 2024.
Responding to the issue, Pastor Chris stated that the incident can not be classified as an accident.
According to him, people must look at life from the spiritual realm.
“Let the devil lick his wounds, yeah, that is it because we must look at life from the spiritual. This is not what we call an accident. No, because we are not ordinary people, we are helped all the time. He told us even when you walk he says don’t worry, he won’t even dash your foot against the stone. Why? He said because he gives His angels charge concerning you.” He said during Sunday service.
The renowned Nigerian pastor indicated that everything that happens in the life of a human being is on plan.
“So everything that happens in your life is on plan. There is no accident to the child of God. No” He added.
Pastor Chris also indicated that the fire at the church is an opportunity for them to build a new one.
The man of God believes anything that happens in your life is an opportunity God is giving you to do something better than before.
“When something like this happens, you look at it, what does God think? God just gives us an opportunity to do something about it, that is all. What are we going to do? Okay, great, the house of God, alright, it’s been burnt down, okay, we will clear out the place and build a better one, a more beautiful one. That is what we are going to do.”
