The General Manager of Nsoatreman FC, Eric Alagidede, says Nsoatreman is confident in winning the upcoming champion of champions game against FC Samartex 1996.
He revealed that his outfit will leave Accra to Tarkwa on Friday 30th, August, 2024 and continue with their preparations towards the Supper Cup after which they will leave for Nsoatre and prepare for their Ghana Premier League opener against Young Apostles.
“We will leave Accra tomorrow morning then on Saturday, we face Samartex at Tarkwa for the Champion of Champions game.
” After the game, we will leave Tarkwa to Nsoatre on Sunday after which we will prepare for our league opener against Young Apostles.” He disclosed.
Eric Alagidede, explained that although the team didn’t involve themselves in a lot of pre-season games, they are well-prepared and ready to give it their all in pursuit of the coveted trophy.
“We will plead with our supporters to exercise patience, we really didn’t play a lot of games in the pre-season but we will play this game with good spirit because we also want to win the Supper Cup and add it to our trophy cabinet.” He said.
The Champion of Champions game (Supper Cup) is one of the most prestigious tournaments in Ghanaian football.
The game is played between the winners of the Ghana Premier League and MTN FA Cup before the commencement of a new football season.
Nsoatreman FC, winners of last season’s Ghana MTN FA Cup, played against Ghana Premier League champions FC Samartex 1996.
The match between Nsoatreman FC and FC Samartex is scheduled to take place on Sunday 1st September, 2024 at the newly T&A Park.
