Ghana Premier League Giants, Accra Hearts of Oak have appealed to all Phobians in Wenchi and beyond to come and support the team as they face Young Apostles in the match day 6 of the Ghana Premier League.
The newly promoted Young Apostles will host Hearts of Oak on Sunday, 13th October, 2024 at the Wenchi Sports Stadium in the Bono Region.
Both teams need a win to secure the three points to move them forward on the League table.
Hearts of Oak on their social media platform X said the players are ready to face their counterpart but they are counting on fans and supporters for their unwavering support to help them secure the three points.
The clash between the two clubs will start at 3:pm.
“A very good morning to all Phobians in Wenchi and beyond!” The club wrote.
“It’s Matchday 6, and today we face newly promoted Young Apostles at the Wenchi Sports Stadium at 3:00 PM. The players are ready, and we are counting on your unwavering support to drive us to victory.” Hearts of Oak said.
This is the first top clash for Young Apostles in the beginning of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.
As the newly promoted team is eager to secure a win in their home to move forward in this season, Hearts of Oak also will hope for an improved performance in this season after a disappointing season that saw them narrowly avoid relegation.
The Premier League Giants as part of measures to improve their performance in this season appointed Nana Yaw Amankwah as their new assistant coach.
