The National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC),Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketia,has urged Ghanaians to vote for the NDC for inclusive development, emphasizing on the party’s commitment to extend development to less privileged communities in the country.
According to Mr. Asiedu,less privileged communities are normally left behind in terms of development especially in terms of providing social amenities such as good road network, good drinking water, quality classroom block, quality health care, electricity,etc. Meanwhile,the Chairman indicated development is mainly concentrated in the Capital Cities and District Capitals, adding that the local economies should be strengthened.
The chairman further entreated Ghanaian voters to vote for the NDC to enhance development in their local communities, emphasizing that Ghanaians deserve equal access to resources and opportunities, regardless of their geographical location.
Speaking at Anyinofi Community in the Sekyere-Afram Plains District of the Ashanti Region in a campaign tour,Mr. Nketia noted that the NDC will prioritize development projects in disadvantaged areas.
He also stated that the NDC aims to bridge the gap between rural and urban areas.
“Rural areas should be empowered to enhance the standard of living of people to ensure the development of the country”,he added.
Obrempong Nana Amponsah Teng kakabo ll,the chief of Anyinofi,who was overwhelmed by the attendance of the meeting indicated that applauded the Chairman for pulling such crowd for the party, stealing the opportunity to call on the chairman to prioritize the development of his community and Sekyere-Afram Plains District as a whole when voted come December 7 general elections.
Obrempong Nana Amponsah Teng kakabo ll, further revealed that he knows what the NDC is capable of in terms of development, acknowledging the NDC’s PC of the Constituency for her impactful gestures in the District especially in the Anyinofi Community.
