An 11-day-old baby has reportedly been stolen from the Agogo Presbyterian Hospital in the Ashanti Region after her mother, Felicia Obenewaa Antwi, briefly handed her to a young woman she met at the hospital, to use the washroom.
Upon returning, both the newborn and the young lady were missing, prompting frantic searches, a police investigation, and a public appeal for information to help locate the child.
“I was here and a certain woman sat beside me and said I feel happy if I see someone holding a baby like this because I lost my baby. And I responded that God will give you another one.” She narrated.
She continued “at a point I wanted to use the bathroom so I gave my child to her so on my way to the washroom, I felt like I was not okay and returned to take my baby but the woman was nowhere to be found.”
