According to her, she and her team have gained a lot of insights about the Boabeng-Fiema Monkey Wildlife Sanctuary

“It was a very wonderful experience as we learn a lot of things, we got to know how wonderful and intelligent the monkeys at the Boabeng-Fiema Monkey Wildlife Sanctuary are, we learnt a lot about the history of the site, how a hunter discovered the monkeys, how the monkeys are buried after their demise and how the person who buries the monkeys are also buried at the same graveyard as the monkeys.

She continued, “at the Kintampo Waterfalls, we had a lot of terrifying and exciting experience as we walked on the canopy walk, raised down the steps to the waterfalls, learned a lot about the Nkrumah stone especially the drum-like sounds it makes including so many others.

“We appreciated the beautiful craftmanship of the intricating carvings and symbols which adorns the walls of the caves at the Tanoboase Sacred Grove and Shrine.

” We learned about the deep-rooted traditions and beliefs of the local community and about some of the ancient rituals that have been performed for generations at the place.”

“We want to expose some of our iconic tourist sites in Bono East, so we visited some of our tourist sites in the region where Lamisi wanted to go and market the site to the whole world because she has chosen to market tourism in Ghana and she is starting the initiative from the Bono East region.

“So early in the morning, we went to Boabeng-Fiema Monkey Wildlife Sanctuary, for her to have a good feel about how monkeys related to human beings which is very unique and expectational only in this region. we have seen monkeys in the whole country but monkeys relating with human beings to such a level is such unique thing only at Boabeng-Fiema.

“She went there and learn a lot about the history of the town and the monkeys, their territories, how they are buried and  actually visited their cemetery.

“From there, she decided to come Kintampo Waterfalls and you know this waterfalls is one of our iconic sites in the Bono East region, the place is very enhanced and she and her team have really enjoyed coming here, she walked on the canopy walk and also descended to the waterfalls.

“I think her intention is appropriate so far as the promotion of tourism is concerned, so therefore as the chief tourism servant in the region, I have to follow her and encouraged her because I have seen that she has a lot of potentials in her to market the region so therefore why not offer my support to her, this explains why I have followed her all the day and I pray that we can go to the Tanoboase Sacred Grove and Shrine and end our tour.
