Vanessa Lamisi Winpini, a young and energetic lady, has officially been outdoored as the Upper East Regional representative of the Daakye Hemaa Kids Beauty Pageant Season 2.
The Daakye Hemaa Kids Beauty Pageant, is a reality show being organized by Promise Broadcasting Ltd., owners of Oyerepa TV, Oyerepa FM, Promise TV, and Promise FM.
The event director at Oyerepa TV, Kwasi Aboagye Amponsah, in an interview with the media explained that, his outfit seeks to inculcate the cultural heritage of Ghana in the young and upcoming ones hence the Daakye Hemaa Kids Beauty Pageant.
“We want to teach the young ones about the cultural heritage of Ghana hence the Daakye Hemaa Kids Beauty Pageant, we believe that the young ones can best learn our heritage through this competition.” He told the media.
As the Upper East Regional representative and a resident of Techiman, Vanessa Lamisi Winpini will not only showcase the rich culture and traditions of the Upper East Region but will occasionally showcase the traditions and customs of the Bono East Region especially Techiman.
Venessa has consistently demonstrated her passion, dedication, and natural talent in various fields, including dancing , poetry recital , and singing.
Her charisma and confidence on stage have made her won the heart of the people of Techiman and the Upper East Region.
Vanessa, during her outdooring said she understands the significance of the opportunity to represent the Upper East Region and Techiman as she is determined to make the most of it.
Lamisi said she is committed to representing her region and place of residence with pride and ready to showca6 her skills and talents on the national stage.
“I watched season 1 of Daakye Hemaa Kids Beauty Pageant and told my father that I am interested in competing in the show because I saw some of the contestants in the season 1 reciting poetry and I believe in myself that poetry recital is one of the many things I can do confidently.
“I humbly plead with the good people of Techiman to vote massively for me when the time is due because as a resident of Techiman, I will surely make the community proud and I also plead with the people of Upper East to also vote for me because I will be showcasing our rich culture during the competition.” She explained
Venessa Lamisi Winpini, used the occasion to encourage her age mates not to feel shy in showcasing their talents.
“As a young person, you must never feel shy in showcasing your talent irrespective of your surroundings, tell your parents about what you are interested in and trust in yourself that you can achieve your goals.” She disclosed
Father kum manager for Venessa, Mr. Asaari Timothy Winpini, said he is committed in supporting her daughter not only in the Daakye Hemaa Kids Beauty Pageant but in all her endeavor as he has realized that Venessa is gifted and needs his support to showcase her talents
“I have realized that Venessa is very talented especially when it comes to showcasing our rich culture, poetry and dancing.
“So as his father, I am more than determined and ready to support her, I was the one who encouraged her to participate in the regional contest of which she passed successfully so as the national contest.” He said
Mr. Winpini explained that, “Venessa is ready to portray not only the culture, traditions and customs of the Upper East Region but also that of Techiman because she was born and breed in Techiman.
Mr. Asaasri Timothy Winpini, urged parents to throw their weight behind their children and help them to unearth their God given gifts.
“Reality shows of this nature is a very big platform for people especially the young ones to venture into the entertainment industry.
“So I will encourage parents to support their wards whenever they venture into program like these” He revealed.
