“Transformational policies by NPP government has boosted Agric sector, economy at large and deserves continuity” – Hon Becky

The District Chief Executive for Atwima Nwabiagya North District Assembly in the Ashanti region of Ghana, Hon. Rebecca Yeboah, popularly known as Amansanboafo, has called on Ghanaians to revote the New Patriotic Party come 7th December 2024.

She said the NPP leg government, has implemented a lot of transformational policies in the Agric sector through Planting for Foods and Jobs(PFJ), Planting for Export and Rural Development(PERD),provision of logistic and staffing, the initiative of the Free SHS Policy amongst many others and therefore deserves to be re-elected.

During the celebrations of the 40th Farmers Day Celebration held at Kapro near Dabaa, Hon. Rebecca said the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Dr. Bawumia led government have prioritize the welfare of farmers and as such make farming attractive in the country.

She called on all and sundry to vote massively for the NPP come December 7th.

“Farming nearly lost its attractiveness in the country but due to the good works of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, farming and agriculture as a whole has become very attractive. Nana Addo really cares about the welfare of farmers and that is why he introduced the Free SHS Policy.

“The Free SHS has now help farmers to send their children to secondary schools without paying any school fees, now farmers can send their children to category A schools in the country but that wasn’t the case some years back, this has now become possible under President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

“Dr. Bawumia also have the interest of farmers at heart, he has promised to support farmers in the country, so vote the NPP and Dr. Bawumia because the NPP has a lot of measures in place that will help transform the lives of all farmers in the country.” Hon Rebecca Yeboah told the gathering.

The Atwima Nwabiagya North Constituency New Parotitic Party’s Parliamentary candidate, Frank Yeboah, saluted the gallant farmers for their pivotal role in building the nation.

He ceased the occasion to thank the NPP government for elevating Atwima Nwabiagya North from a District Assembly to Municipal Assembly. He said the new status of the municipality will help harnessthe full potential of the community and foster a lot of developmental projects.

Frank Yeboah, appealed to his folks to vote massively for NPP government to witness more developmental projects in the constituency.

“I am grateful to Akufo-Addo, he is has really help Ghana to develop and thanks to his good works, we in Nwabiagya North can also boast of developmental projects in our constituency.

“There are a lot of projects the government is doing in our country and they deserves to stay in power and continue with the good work. The good works of the NPP government will manifest in the lives of Ghanaians when the NPP stays in government.

“Now that we have been uprated from a district to municipality, I know we will know see a lot of developmental projects.” He said

54 year old Kwadwo Assan, from Dabaa who was adjudged the Atwima Nwabiagya North District Best Farmer received a tricycle and other Agric inputs.

He encouraged the youth to go into farming to reduce unemployment rate in the country. He said government and other NGOs are willing to support the youth in farming sector.

“I have never lose hope in the work I am doing, so today if by the grace of God I am where I am today, then all I will say is that I am very grateful to the Almighty God.

“I will use this opportunity to advice the youth in the country, especially those in Atwima Nwabiagya not to deceive themselves that there is no work in the country. The government is willing to support anybody who will venture into farming, there are a lot of NGOs who are also supporting farming in the country.

“A lot of rural banks also grant farmers loans to do their farming so I will advise the youth to venture into farming because it will help them a lot.” He said.
