The leader of the New Force, Nana Kwame Bediako, has revealed that there are a lot of potentials and opportunities in the Bono East region which he seeks to utilize to develop the region when he becomes the President of Ghana.

Entrepreneur and philanthropist and Presidential aspirant, Nana Kwame Bediako, popularly known as Cheddar, made this revelation when he visited the Bono East regional Capital, Techiman as part of his 16 regional listening tour.

The purpose of the tour is to engage with the people, listen to their challenges, aspirations, and needs, and incorporate their feedback into his manifesto for future endeavors as he seeks to break the regime of the New Patriotic Party and the National Democratic Congress with his New Force.

By visiting Techiman as part of his regional listening tour, Nana Kwame Bediako demonstrates his commitment to grassroots engagement, community empowerment, and participatory governance. By actively seeking input from the residents of Techiman, he aims to gain insights, perspectives, and firsthand experiences that will inform his policy proposals, development projects, and initiatives to address the pressing issues facing the community and the region as a whole.

The program which took place at the Akina City Hotel off the Techiman Sunyani Road, was attended by representatives of the Techiman Traditional Council, Clergy, Muslims, organizations including a high number of youth.

The numbers presented at the event indicates the massive support and endorsement Nana Kwame Beidako’s New Force has gained within Techiman and the Bono East region for that matter.

Nana Kwame Bediako, revealed that, when given the opportunity to lead the country come January 2025, his government will be a government for the people hence his listening tour in all the 16 regions in the country as he seeks to foster dialogue, collaboration, and partnership with local stakeholders, leaders, and residents to co-create solutions, strategies, and programs that respond to the needs, priorities, and aspirations of the people.

Cheddar, addressing the media, revealed that he is overwhelmed by support given to him by the people of Techiman as he promised to return the region to achieve its full potential. He said the people of Bono East have a lot of potential that are not being properly utilized by the government, a fortune he seeks to change once given the nod to lead the people.

“I’m here because I’m on a 16 regional listening tour, so it’s my first time coming to Techiman, I have realized that Techiman is a developed city with people with different mentality but they also have a lot of opportunities and potentials that have not been utilized”

“So I’m happy to be here for the listening tour, I had a great time, people asked great questions, the people were friendly and lovely, they were very advanced and the support was good and grateful to be here and I will be coming back to support the region.’’  He said

Nana Kwame Bediako listens to the challenges, opportunities, and perspectives of the people in Techiman, underscored the importance of participatory democracy, citizen engagement, and accountable governance in driving sustainable development, social cohesion, and equitable progress.
