The Ashanti Regional Minister, Simon Osei-Mensah has challenged the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) to tell him one single hospital they completed and commissioned in the region during their term in office and he will resign as a Minister.
He said the NDC has doctored his video to peddle false allegations against him that he failed to mention just one project the NPP government has done in their 8 years in office meanwhile they couldn’t commission any single hospital in the region.
Speaking in an interview with GHOne TV, Simon Osei Mensah stated that he is like a porcupine if you attack him he will give you his spines.
“That fake video? When I mentioned Ante Rebbeca’s project, they said he has mentioned one but the host said you have mentioned four. Go and listen to it again. And again, when I said when you are coming to my office, at the right hand side is the apex court residential complex, then they cut it and made it come to my office and listen to those projects.” He said.
“You see? These are indigenous, these lies, I am like a porcupine, you attack me I will give you my spines, these are the lies. Because I have told them and I have asked this question almost two years and I also ask again. If they (NDC) can give me one single hospital whether they inherited or they initiated, completed, commissioned and the hospital accepted patients and I will resign I will resign. If they tell me just now I will resign.” The Minister challenged NDC.
“Just one I will resign as Regional Minister. And because of those questions I am putting to them, they will go and make this fake thing that I can not mention. I don’t even attend interviews with sheets or papers, I go with my coconut. I want one person who can tell me that the person has interviewed me and I held a paper.” Simon Osei Mensah reiterated.
