Techiman Local Council of Churches unveils 2025 Goals

The Chairperson of the Techiman Local Council of Churches, Rev. Dr. Roland Okai, has outlined the council’s vision for the year 2025.

In an interview with the media after a successful thanksgiving service for a peaceful 2024 general elections, he disclosed that the council will undertake a series of initiatives with the aim of enhancing socialization, networking, and community development.

According to him, the Techiman Local Council of Churches plans to construct a dedicated auditorium that will serve as a venue for conferences, seminars, and other religious activities.

“Our goal this year is to construct an auditorium for the Techiman Council of Churches where we can periodically hold conferences and seminars..

“To achieve this, we will visit all the churches in Techiman to solicit funds for the construction of both the auditorium and our office.” He stated.

Rev. Dr. Roland Okai, further revealed that, the council aims to foster socialization and networking among churches by organizing various outdoor and indoor activities such as football tournaments, inter-church Bible quizzes, and cultural heritage quizzes.

Rev. Dr. Okai pointed out the importance of these activities in strengthening the bonds among churches and preserving the rich cultural legacy of Techiman for future generations.

”The new leadership of the council will organize a lot of outdoor activities including football tournaments among churches in the constituency, to foster socialization and networking.

”We will also organize inter-church Bible quizzes  as well as quizzes on the cultural heritage of Techiman. Through these initiatives, we aim to preserve the traditions, customs, and culture of Techiman for future generations.” He said.
