He also commended the head coach of the Black Stars, Otto Addo for putting the players together.

He believes the coach needs patience and trust to achieve his target.

“Well he is doing well, it is not easy as you can see the way the team was in the beginning before he came. And now he managed to put the players back together in unity and I think the first game and the second game they did very well for came on top of the group. We all have to put our trust in him and support him, I think he will continue doing well.” The former Black Stars player added.

John Mensah revealed that he is now spending his time on the gospel after his football career.

“Actually I leave all my time to church because I have done a lot with my time so now that I have retired, I have to also spend my time on the word of God especially evangelism. I was already born again when I was playing but after my football career, I feel that I have done a lot in my football time so I think it is better I should have more time for Christ. I am not a pastor but my faith and my belief I think I should give my life to Christ.” The former Black Stars defender revealed.
