Celebrated Gospel musician Victoria Sarfo has attributed the predicament of some musicians at their old age due to lack of proper planning in their youthful age.
She said many musicians forget about the future at their peak of fame and fail to plan for their lives, because a lot of them become poor and suffer at the end of their music career.
“If you were not able to plan your things and life well. You are a human being so definitely you will become weak and can’t sing or perform like in the past. You created a job for myself. I am a caterer by profession, I have a restaurant. When I returned from abroad, I realised that I have to create something for myself. That is when I started the music.” Victoria Sarfo said this in an iterview with Agoropapa, the host of Ezra FM Entertainment Arena.
According to Maa Vic, she has observed that some celebrities are lazy which is also affecting them in the future.
She advised them to create another business for themselves which can earn them extra money to build something better for the future.
“I am working aside music so even if I go to a program and they don’t give me money, I still have something to survive. I have set a target that I won’t go and beg for money. If you become a star, sometimes you don’t want to do anything. For me, I don’t feel shy, I can do anything.” She advised.
Meanwhile, musician Victoria Sarfo has teamed up with other giants in the Ghanaian gospel music industry to remix one of her timeless songs titled ‘Jesus Kasa’.
