The Authorities of Adankwame Health Centre in the Atwima Nwabiagya North District of the Ashanti region have appealed to the government and the various stakeholders to come to their rescue from deadly animals such as snakes and scorpions.

According to them, lack of a fence wall exposed the Health facility to these animals and encroachers which affect service delivery.

Speaking in an interview with the media, the Senior Physician Assistant in charge of Adankwame Health Centre Hajia Abdullah Kabura all efforts to solve the problem have proven unsuccessful and therefore appeal to stakeholders, NGOs and other corporate bodies to come to their aid to build a fence wall for the Health Centre to minimize encroachers and safeguard their properties.

“Due to the lack of a fence wall, encroachers and other animals such as snakes and scorpions get access to the facility and are leading to loss of equipment which is affecting service delivery. We are appealing to stakeholders, NDCs, Philanthropists and the government to come to our aid to save lives and protect the properties.” Hajia Abdullah Kabura  appealed.

She made this humble appeal when a Patriotic citizen from Adankwame,Mr Nicholas Kwadwo Nyantakyi  supported the facility with TV sets , street bulbs and other items to support service delivery.

Mr Kwadwo Nyantakyi on his side indicated that the move is to ensure that the Health Centre is running and service delivery is going on well.

According to him, the most important thing in life is good health care.

“The development of Adankwame and Ghana at large is my concern so I took it upon myself to visit the Health Centre and I found that they lack a lot of things that is why I brought these items to them. It is imperative to ensure that the Health Centre has the needed equipment for service delivery so that they can save lives.” He explained.

He therefore appealed to the residents, especially those living abroad to come and support them.

“I will appeal to the residents and those living abroad to do their best and support the Health Centre and other developmental projects to develop the community and Ghana as a whole.” He appealed.
