Outspoken entertainment pundit, Sally Mann has said Ghanaian Dancehall artiste, Charles Nii Armah Mensah aka Shatta Wale is on a pension bench in the music industry.
According to her, things are not going on well for the self-acclaimed dancehall king like before so he has more time to do many things.
Speaking on Hitz FM, the entertainment journalist stated that Shatta Wale is a content creator.
“Now where he is, he is too comfortable, there is nothing really going for him, he (Shatta Wale) is on the pension bench so he has a lot of time on his sense. When I say pension it doesn’t mean the person has really retired, it means things are not going on well for the person. Shatta Wale himself is a content creator, he comes live to create content.” She said.
Adom showtym host indicated that a lot of people in the industry are pushing Stonebwoy than Shatta Wale because of his utterances.
According to her, Shatta Wale has consistently said he is not an industry boy and for that matter the industry can’t push him.
Sally Mann also lamented how the “taking over” hit maker insults people in the country.
“The bit about we pushing Stonebwoy not Shatta Wale, Shatta has alsways said that he is not an industry boy, you people when he talks listen, if you are not an industry boy, why do you expect the industry to push you? You sit and insult Osei Kwame Despite, the man if he is your family member, you would never struggle, you insult Kwasi Twum, the man if he is your family, you will never struggle. These are people that have businesses, they have grew businesses in Ghana.”
