Ghanaian American-based theologian, preacher, and philanthropist, Archbishop Adonteng Boateng has said Ghanaian Reggae-dancehall artist, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr also known as Shatta Wale’s outburst on social media is as a results of pains his mother subjected him to.

He said Shatta Wale is emotionally and physically damaged and he is always ready to fight because the musician didn’t get love, support and comfort from his younger stage.

Speaking on Kingdom FM monitored by Elvisanokyenews.com,  The Founder of Divine Word International Ministries stated that Ghanaians should not condemn Shatta Wale because of his actions and outburst.

“I have listened to Shatta Wale. I listen to his music and pray for him because a while ago he was talking about his mother, how his mother abandoned him when he was young and I cried. Young boy walking on the streets for many years, always he is pained, they grow with it, he become very loud always. When I hear him speaking loudly and insulting people, he is crying for attention and people don’t understand him.” The man of God said.

Adonteng Boateng added that the musician is not evil or mad like people think but his reactions are based on the pains he endured from his childhood.

“He is not evil like people think, he is not mad like people think, God has helped him and raised him to a certain level but he is damaged emotionally. Because of some love, comfort and support he was supposed to get, he didn’t so he is hurt, so whatever he is doing he is ready to fight. Shatta Wale is ready to fight because that is what he has been doing when he was young. So he doesn’t know peace, whatever he is doing he does it extreme because he is emotionally, physically damaged.” He added.

He stressed that Shatt Wale has promoted Ghana in many ways and deserves to be celebrated.

“But let us be frank, he has promoted the name of Ghana just because Ghanaians are tribalistic, divisive and confused people.
