Former veteran highlife musician, Papa Shee has said secular musicians are on their way to hell.
According to Papa Shee who has turned evangelist for the past six years, secular musicians are being controlled by Satan and their activities are against the well of God.
” I have performed in Hollywood, I slept at Elvis Presley’s house in Los Angeles. My brothers who are composing secular music lost a long time ago, I was lost. The Bible says “There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death”. Listen, the Bible says “it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment. There is a spirit that manipulates a person to sing secular songs and other profane songs.” He said.
Speaking in an inyerview with Odi Ahenkan Kwame Yeboah on Accra-based Peace FM monitored by Elvisanokyenews.com, Papa Shee stated that God gives a person talent to use it to praise and worship Him not for his or her personal gains.
Adding that he has stopped listening to secular songs which he described as foolish songs.
“God has given everybody talent, so your duty is to use your talent to worship Him not to go against God. I no longer listen to these foolish songs. I was the one singing these foolish songs, the meaning of the song was twisted in public because I was controlled by satan. So Satan is controlling those musicians. If you don’t repent and continue listening to these songs you will go to hell when you die.” He stated.
“I give thanks to Yahweh, the creator of all the universe, the Alpha and Omega. God of Isaac, God of Jacob, God of Abraham. For the past six years Ghanaians have known me by my fruit. My prayers are that everybody will repent.”
