Accra Great Olympics sensational left-back, Samuel Abbey-Ashie Quaye, is set to  complete his much awaited transfer move to Olympics’ city rivals, Accra Hearts of Oak

Management of Accra Hearts of Oak and Samuel Abbey-Ashie Quaye agent are expected to meet and finalize the details of his contract, which will make him the newest addition to the team’s roster.

According to reports, the left-back will complete his much awaited move to Hearts of Oak on Tuesday, 20th August, 2024  after a series of saga between him and Accra Great Olympics.

Abbey-Ashie Quaye, has been making waves in the Ghanaian football scene with his impressive performances for both Black Satellites and Black Meteors. He scored one goal for the Wonder Club in 25 league appearances and has been a subject of various transfer news despite Olympics suffering relegation during the 2023 / 2024 Ghana Premier League season

The meeting between Ashie Quaye and the Hearts of Oak management will likely involve discussing the terms of his contract, including his salary, duration, and any other clauses.

Once he successfully completes his medicals and the contract is signed, Samuel Abbey-Ashie Quaye will officially become a member of the Accra Hearts of Oak squad, and the 10th new addition to the team.

The others unveiled by the Ghana Premier League club include Ramzy Yussif, Mawuli Wayo, Hussein Mohammed, Kwabena Boateng, Isshak Saani Mohammed, and Yahaya Draman.

In addition to these seven players, Hearts of Oak earlier confirmed the acquisition of the likes of Benjamin Asare, Asamoah Boateng, Michael Awuah, and Samuel Amofa.

Hearts of Oak says additional players will be recruited to prepare to team before the start of the 2024/25 football season.
