Defending Champions of the Ghana Premier League,FC Samartex 1996, has officially leave the shores of Ghana to Morocco ahead of their highly anticipated CAF Champions League 2nd leg encounter with Raja Casablanca.

The Samreboi based team, will be hoping to reach the group stages of 2024/2025 CAF champions when the face face Raja Casablanca of Morocco.

FC Samartex held Raja Casablanca to a 2:2 draw at the Accra Sports Stadium on last Sunday 15th September 2024.

In the first leg encounter, Samartex fell behind twice, yet they fought back and secured a 2-2 draw, showing their determination and fighting spirit.

FC Samartex 1996 is currently unbeaten in their CAF Champion maiden edition.

The Timber Boys will train at the Stade Larbi Zaouli on Friday ahead of their clash against the Moroccan giants.

The 2nd leg encounter will take place at the 18,600 capacity Stade Larbi Zaouli on 21st September, 2024.
