Rev. Moses Kwame Nasimong, son of the former superintendent of Brong Ahafo region B, Retired Rev. Paul Nasimong, has been inducted into office as the regional superintendent for Brong Ahafo region B of the Assemblies of God.
The induction ceremony took place at the Full Gospel Assemblies of God Church in Techiman of the Assemblies of God.
The General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God, Rev. Stephen Wengam, in his sermon urged Rev. Nasimong to be firm but caring in the discharge of his duties.
“You are a leader for all the people. Be firm, be principled but be also gracious. Be caring,” he said.
Mr. Obed Asante, CEO for Ghana Nut who was the special guest of honour at the event commended Rev. Nasimong for his diligence and excellent leadership.
He also called on society to emulate the virtues of good pastors.
Rev. Nasimong, in an address promised to undertake a number of programs that will ensure that ministers within his jurisdiction are able to carry out their mandate.
“My predecessors worked tirelessly to address many of them [issues]. Some are recurring matters that do not go away. Others are issues that come up due to the times that we find ourselves in”. He said
He continued, “my team and I will assist pastors in the region to fulfill their calling and their God-given mandate”.
He further pledged to improve upon the benefits of in the ministers within the region and also I encourage the youth to live a Godly life
He promised to build Assemblies of God Guest House for the church to raise revenue for the church development and also support pastors in the local churches.
