The District Chief Executive for Pru West in the Bono East Region, Hon Emmanuel Manu, has commended contractors working on their roads for their good work done.

He said although work is still in progress, he is satisfied with the pace at which the job is being executed by the contractors hence the commendation.

The DCE disclosed this at the first quarterly sitting of the year.

According to him, most of the unfinished projects in the district have reached their climax and he is expecting President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to commission most of the projects by the end of the year.

Hon. Emmanuel Manu, said “the speed and quality going on at the project sites are heartwarming, and interesting. It has brought happiness and joy to the people of this area because it will open up the district.” He said.

He further revealed that some projects like the new assembly office complex, town roads ,portable drinking water, 1D1F factory, Feeder Road Regional office complex, staff quarters and other projects are progressing steadily and may be completed by the end of the year.

He continued, “the Agenda 111 project with 80 hospital beds capacity is ongoing and progressing steadily despite delay in starting it. I want to thank the government of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for giving the people of Pru west our equal share of the National cake.”

He used the occasion to commend and thanked the Presiding Member for Pru West, Hon. Yakubu Mohammed and the  Members of the Assembly for their support which undoubtedly has enabled a lot of developmental projects in the district.

On his part, the Presiding Member of the assembly, Hon. Yakubu Mohammed, shared the same view as the DCE. He added that, “all these projects in our district are possible because there is a cordial relationship among the Assembly Members as we all aim to develop the district and improve the life of our people”

He edged his colleagues to get involved in every assembly deliberations. He also emphasized on the road infrastructure and said if Prang and Abaase through Kintampo road is completed, Prang and Abaase will be connected to other districts in the country.
