The Bono East regional Director for the Ghana National Ambulance Service, Mr. Michael Akwasi Badu, has commended the former District Chief Executive for Pru East, Hon. Josuah Kwaku Abonkra for coming to their aid when they needed help.
The former DCE donated money to the ambulance service to repair the Pru East ambulance vehicle which for some time now has developed a fault and was at a workshop for maintenance.
Mr. Michael Badu, says the ambulance has been out of commission for almost four months but his outfit was lacking the needed funds to repair the emergency vehicle until Hon. Josuah Kwaku Abonkra came to their rescue.
“Our ambulance developed a fault, our injectors were faulty, not long ago, Hon. and I spoke about the ambulance and when we least expected, Hon. gave us money to repair the ambulance. thanks to him, we now have the needed amount of money to repair the ambulance” he said.
He further explained that, the ambulance will serve the good people of Pru Eas and believes every life the ambulance during its routine will save will be a blessing towards the former District Chief Executive for Pru East, Hon. Josuah Kwaku Abonkra.
Hon Joshua Kwaku Abonkra, in an interview with Kwabena Manu said “for almost 6 months now, the ambulance at Yeji has not been working, all their efforts in soliciting for funds to repair the ambulance has not been fruitful”.
He continued, “I was deeply touched when I get to know about the unfortunate development, the ambulance is to provide emergency transport to our sick so therefore I had do to all I can to generate the needed funds for it repairs so it can work and serve our people again.”
