Dear IGP, Dr. George Akuffo Dampare,
I deem it a golden prestige to submit this epistle to your up to scratch office in order to reverentially resonate you with iron – fisted vandalism at the mentioned premises, supposedly pioneered by the incumbent Member of Parliament, Hon. Ibrahim Ahmed in cahoots with a component of the indigenes. It could be recalled that, on the 1st August, 2024, after the president had commissioned the District Road Improvement Programme machines, discharged them to all the 261 Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies for the subsequent allocations of those machines.
The expanse of Banda procured their own through the Regional Minister and handed them over to the authorities to squirrel them away in an untold habitat. In a devilish effort to undercut and maim this initiative of the president, Hon. Ibrahim Ahmed has connived with some hooligans to a great extent, disfigured and evaporated those machines. This MP is fabled for clamping down on every project of this government, since his party is not in power. He has been a despotic leader in Banda on the ticket of being the Member of Parliament, hence the superciliousness.
It is still refreshing on the minds of the electorates in Banda about how Hon. Ibrahim Ahmed instigated his gangs to storm the sector of the limited voters registration exercise then, of which some were deprived of registering through wielding his power under the influence of his vicious syndicate; others were also shelved by his ferocious subordinates – in fact it was an eyesore entirely. He has got the proclivity to engender anything cruelty on the shore of Banda. He exuded another Mephistophelean scene in the midst of the voters transfer where he impounded or barricaded a shedload of electorates from transferring their votes to the said spot.
Quite startlingly, in all these unsavoury and yucky situations, we have had a thorough engagements with the district police commander, but gloomily, he hasn’t embarked on any propitious step to stymie the belligerent character of Hon. Ibrahim Ahmed. There has been a general perception that, the district police commander is a chum to the MP, hence has kept mum about this on the lots of time, we have reported him to his end.
As I am writing to you now, the ‘ DRIP ‘ machines have gone south through the actions of his subordinates. The government cannot squander a whacking amount of monies to notch up those machines only for some people to make those machines hit the skids. I am with this medium, entreating your outfit to burrow into this case expeditiously, such that, those neds could be indicted.
I would be chuffed to embrace any feedback from your office.
