Hon. Prince Opoku Mensah, a Presidential Staffer and Bono East Regional Political Affairs Coordinator, has chaired the official inauguration of newly constructed multi-purpose courts at Kumasi Girls Senior High School.
The facility, designed to support a range of sporting disciplines, is expected to promote physical fitness, teamwork, and discipline among students while encouraging greater participation in extracurricular activities.
Addressing the gathering, Hon. Opoku Mensah commended the school’s management for prioritizing sports development as an integral part of education. He emphasized that physical education contributes significantly to the holistic development of learners, nurturing both physical well-being and leadership qualities.

As part of his contribution, Hon. Opoku Mensah donated GH¢5,000 to support the school’s sports programs, urging the students to make good use of the facility to excel both academically and in sports.
The event attracted education stakeholders, staff, students, and community members who expressed appreciation for the project, describing it as a timely investment that aligns with government’s broader vision of youth empowerment and quality education.
