The Premier League has announced the eight players shortlisted for the EA SPORTS Player of the Month award for December 2025, highlighting standout performers from across the division following a thrilling festive period.
At the heart of the list is Dominic Calvert-Lewin (Leeds United), who led the league’s scoring charts in December with six goals in five matches, driving Leeds away from the relegation zone with decisive strikes against the likes of Chelsea and Crystal Palace.
Manchester City have three representatives on the shortlist after an unbeaten month:
• Rayan Cherki, whose creativity delivered four assists and a goal as City secured victory in every league fixture.
• Phil Foden, contributing four goals and an assist, continuing his influence in pivotal moments.
• Erling Haaland, who netted five goals and provided three assists, further extending his lead in the Premier League Golden Boot race.
Liverpool forward Hugo Ekitike also makes the cut after a fine month in which he scored five goals and set up one, helping the Reds to remain unbeaten.
Aston Villa’s attacking pair have been recognized for their December form with Morgan Rogers and Ollie Watkins both nominated following productive goal returns that reinforced Villa’s strong campaign.
Completing the list is Harry Wilson (Fulham), whose influential displays included two goals and four assists, helping the Cottagers secure key results and boost their league position.
The winner will be decided by fan and public voting, with the award celebrating exceptional individual contributions throughout the festive month.
