Petrol, diesel, LPG prices set to rise from November 16

The Chamber of Petroleum Consumers (COPEC) has announced that petroleum prices are expected to increase across the pumps starting November 16, 2025.

According to COPEC, petrol prices are projected to rise by around 3.38 percent, moving from an average of GHS12.18 per litre to GHS12.59 per litre.

Diesel is expected to see a larger increase of about 9.81 percent, reaching GHS13.71 per litre from the current GHS12.49 per litre.

Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) is also expected to increase by 1.97 percent to GHS11.87 per kilogram.

The price adjustments are attributed to a rise in global crude prices and fluctuations in the cedi. COPEC noted that the increases may vary slightly across pumps, with prices falling within a five percent margin of the projected figures.

COPEC urged oil marketing companies to absorb part of the increases where possible, to avoid overburdening consumers with steep price hikes.

Duncan Amoah, Executive Secretary of COPEC, signed the statement confirming the expected price adjustments.
