Actress Gladys Mensah Boaku, popularly known as Nayas, has said she prefers love to money when it comes to relationships.
According to her, love conquers everything so couples without money can make it if they love themselves and arrange their things well.
Sharing her experiences on Ado, TV showtym with host Sally Mann, Nayas stated that she values love because love is more important than anything.
“Eiii, for me I prefer love to money. Love is ticker, love is appreciated. Love is important, we came and met money and we shall leave it behind. If my man and I love ourselves, we can work hard to get what we want. Love is valuable and important.” She stated.
Nayas whose marriage with Nana Sarfo Kantanka collapsed said she has learnt a lot in the relationship.
According to her, prospective men who wish to come to her life should not just come and take advantage of her.
She underscored the importance of studying a man to understand each other and know their families before getting married.
“For me, if you are a man and you want to come into my life, don’t think of just having a fan with me and go, I like love. If you love someone, you can’t do him bad, you won’t be jealous of him. So if somebody comes and tells me I have money I will take care of you and others, per my experiences if a man is coming to me, I will prefer that we study ourselves for sometime and know the two families well before we stay together. I won’t just stand up and rush into a relationship. No” Nayas indicated.
The actress said nobody should underestimate love since it is the most important thing in life, not money.
