The Chief Executive Officer (ECO) of PAC Creative Studios, Stanley Dartey has threatened to use JADON SHATTA ENTERTAINMENT over illegal use of Killy Killy instrumental.
According to him, he produced the musical work for Shatta ‘Wale’s AY3 halfcast’ single in March 2019 but Killy Killy was released using his instrumental for commercial purposes without his knowledge.
“I produced the musical work for Shatta ‘Wale’s AY3 halfcast’ single in March 2019. Without my knowledge or consent, Killy Killy was released using my original instrumental for commercial purposes.” Stanley Dartey said in a press release.
“It has come to my notice that in an interview on 3FM (92.7), credits for the Killy Killy production was given to a producer called JayNero who worked with JADAON SHATTA ENTERTAINMENT, the label Larusso is affiliated to.” He added.
He disclosed that he is currently in consultation with my legal team for appropriate direction.
Meanwhile, fans of PAC Creative Studio have advised Stanley Dartey to sue Jadon Shatta Entertainment.
“Bro you need to sue those guys self if they didn’t seek your permission and paid you for the right to use the original sound of the ‘Aye Halfcast’ song. I remember when some of us said that Shatta Wale song ‘Aye Halfcast’ which you produced gave rise to Larruso and who he’s become people were talking trash . Today we are seeing how they are fighting each other over the production and all that… Abeg sue them for 1M usd p3…we dey your back , that was your hard-work and owns the copyright to the instrumentation.” He posted on Facebook.
